Day 1:
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai International Airport you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. You’ll then enjoy some leisure time until the evening, It’s then time to savor a Khantoke Dinner and enjoy the Northern Thai Cultural show that goes with it (not applicable if you arrive on night flight).
Day 2:
Visit Doi Suthep Temple, the most famous temple in Chiang Mai. Thai people say if you didn’t visit this temple you didn’t visit Chiang Mai. Contemplate the panoramic views of the town and enjoy the cool air. Your next visit is the Bhubing Rajanives Palace, a royal residence built in 1961. After lunch, visit the Center of handicraft products of Chiang Mai. Learn and watch the process of manufacturing silk, lacquer ware, umbrellas, gems and so on. Perfect place to buy some incredible souvenirs that will amaze your family back home. It’s time to return to your hotel. time at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 3:
Visit an elephant camp where you can feed and interact with the animals before enjoying a show. You’ll be impressed by the skills of these peaceful giants. They even can paint better than many of us can. After the show, you ride an elephant through the jungle and countryside and then try a traditional oxcart. Your next visit is a Lisu Traditional Village.. It’s time for lunch and bit of rest before you embark on a bamboo raft for relaxing cruise down the river.. Then you visit a Padong Village (Long Neck Karen) where you can chat with the women and learn how and why they wear these brass rings.
Day 4:
We meet you at your hotel at 7:30 and take the journey to Chiang Rai. On the way we stop at Mae-kha-chan Hot spring where you can relax before hitting the road again. As we drive you can contemplate the mountainous views before we arrive to Wat Rong Khun (the White Temple), A unique and amazing temple made by one of the most famous artist of Thailand. Then the visit continue to Mae Sai (on the Thai-Burma border). After lunch, visit the Golden Triangle, a place where the territory of the three countries (Thai-Laos and Burma) meets on the Mekong River. Drive back to Chiang Mai.
Day 5:
Time at leisure. Transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport.
