Your day starts at 8 AM, where we’ll pick you up from the hotel and drive you to the Doi Inthanon National Park. We’ll reach the destination in roughly 1.5 hours, and drop you off at a genuine Karen village. There, you’ll be able to spend some time exploring the coffee farm, watching the villagers there farm and roast the beans. As a bonus, you’ll get to taste the fresh brewed coffee directly from the farm!
Doi Inthanon National Park Trekking Tour
A local Karen tribe tour guide will take you through the park for about 2 to 4 hours, allowing you to learn more about the vegetation found in the area. You’ll be given the chance to taste some of the edible plants along the way,
During the trek, the guide will give you some time to relax near the first waterfall. You may even decide to enjoy some time in the water before you continue the tour. After a short break, the tour will continue to another waterfall and then to the meeting point where the vehicle will be waiting to drive you to lunch just a few kilometers away.
Royal Thai Air Force Radar Station
After lunch, you’ll be taken to visit the highest peak in the country at 8,415 ft, home to a Royal Thai Air Force radar station. From there, you can choose to relax or take a short hike through the AngKa Nature Trail. This 360 meter walk goes through a forest of moss-covered trees, orchids, and rare birds.
Twin Royal Pagodas
Our next stop will be the Royal Twin Chedis, or pagodas, located just a few kilometers away. These two pagodas were built on top of a mountain to honor the King and Queen, with beautiful Buddhist shrines found within. Both are surrounded by an alluring garden that is always maintained to stay clean and vibrant. You’ll also be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the mountain as you walk around.
